Every elysia product utilizes specially milled components, and the brand is particularly proud of the precision and quality of its mechanical production process. Exacting CNC machines mill front panels, trim parts, and more from solid aluminum — even the exceptionally elaborate housing of the elysia alpha compressor is machined completely in-house.
As proud as elysia is of its machine-milling processing, there are times when the precision of the human hand and eye is simply irreplaceable. Thus, elysia’s THT (Through Hole Technology) components are placed on circuit boards by hand with visual assistance through light-point systems. Afterwards, these components — including connectors, large capacitors, transistors, and potentiometers — are precisely machine-soldered in place. In fact, the solder nozzle that elysia uses is permanently protected from oxidation with nitrogen, which is also produced in-house to increase the brand’s independence from external suppliers and raw material shortages. This process also allows soldering between THT components, making it possible to solder the circuit board from both sides. The result speaks for itself, as elysia’s immaculate circuit boards shine with ultra-clean layouts and perfect solder joints throughout.
