Throughout the years Walrus Audio has been inspired by sounds created by their favorite artists: the perfect breakup on an overdrive, a thick, punchy distortion, an endlessly sustained reverb, a self-oscillating delay. Walrus Audio is a collective of artists, musicians, and engineers attempting to find the balance between art and performance in sound manipulation. It’s their goal to make guitar effects that are as interesting to play as they are to look at.
Walrus Audio began in a small workspace in Norman, Oklahoma, in 2011. The Premier Gear Award–winning Voyager Overdrive set the brand’s seafoam color in stone, with an expectancy of top-notch artwork from incredibly talented illustrators.
