The original Launcher has found favor with sound-savvy engineers, producers, and artists. But it’s only natural to want more of a good thing. So, Soyuz responded to user requests for a second channel and the ability to handle line-level signals. Enter Launcher Deluxe. It not only adds a second channel of in-line mic preamplification for convenient stereo operation, but it’s also a line-level saturator, which makes it capable of transforming any signal from lackluster to magnificent. The Launcher Deluxe features two individually selectable modes, each with its own separate signal path. The original Launcher Mode, which requires phantom power, is designed for dynamic and ribbon mics, and boosts the signal by 26dB while adding vintage color and saturation. The passive Saturate Mode (which allows phantom power to pass through) is designed to handle condenser mics and line level signals. It therefore bypasses the gain stage, but still imbues signals with the inimitable, authoritative Launcher color and vibe.

Eastern engineering, Western design
The Russian word “soyuz” means alliance, and it signifies the partnership that is the driving force behind Soyuz Microphones. In 2013 American vocalist David Arthur Brown and Russian entrepreneur Pavel Bazdyrev teamed up and launched a company to build world-class microphones in Russia — a country where less than five percent of small businesses last more than two years. Since then, thanks to their outstanding quality and sound, Soyuz microphones have gained a foothold and are being used by top engineers, producers, and artists.
