Too expensive, but high quality. Worth the price for the peace-of-mind during a rainy load in. The backpack straps are extremely useful. Plenty of room for cables and a mic.

So glad I purchased the Bose S1 Pro Padded Backpack to go with my Bose! It seemed a little costly when I ordered it but it's totally worth it. Really glad I have a safe place to keep my Bose, putting it in and out of the car going to gigs etc. And I love that I can slip it into my carry cart without worrying it's going to get scratched up or carry it on my back with everything I need in the top part of the backpack. I have not had a chance to use it yet but it fits the S1 perfectly and so much room. I am doing a gig in a couple of weeks and plan to use this as my main bag. It looks like I can get cables, mic and tuning pedal all in it. Carry my stool, guitar and this on my back, done deal.

This backpack is very well made - strong and sturdy. The convenient overhead mic compartment in the and the padded space for my S1 Pro fits everything I need and then some. The padded shoulder straps make those occasional long tramps from parking spots much easier to handle. My sole concern and request is for the two very tight side pockets - anything bulky placed into these pockets makes it quite difficult to slide the S1 Pro into the sleeve. I would prefer a stiffer inner lining with a gusseted outer pocket allowing for the storage of bulkier items.

I am a seriously busy working musician averaging over 240 performances a year. As I get a little older, I felt the need to down size my gear and footprint at venues. I was skeptical of the very compact BOSE S1 PRO speaker but gave it a try. To my surprise with a decent mixer the speaker sounded great for my purposes. Now, I decided to keep it and move forward with protecting the unit, I purchased the slip cover for the speaker itself (HIGHLY RECOMMEND), then purchased the backpack for the speaker. Jimmy my sales rep has always gone over and beyond for me on all my gear so first off "Thank You".
The backpack quality is very good but does really limit you on space for storage of other things such as cables, extension cord, power strip etc. One the speaker is in the backpack, everything is extremely tight BUT it functions as it was designed.
PRICE - GROSLY OVER PRICED in my opinion but that's always been the BOSE way! This would be a great opportunity for a third party company to come in and design an alternative option, currently there isn't one.

I had a previous version of this backpack case. The current version is substandard.
The first one was mostly vinyl or leather.

This case is 2/3 nylon.

Fits the S1 Pro perfectly and has a generous pocket in the top cover that will hold any cables you need.
It will prevent minor scuffs to the amp, as it should do.
IMHO it is pricey for a soft case, and it loses 1 star for that - but I didn't find an acceptable substitute, either hard case or soft.

Knocks it out of the park - better than any competitor's wares. Sweetwater has the best people in the business. Thank you for your professionalism!

I'm glad I got the padded backpack. At first I was a bit hesitant because of the price but once I used to a gig it was so convenient to carry the Bose S1 on my shoulders and use my hands to carry other stuff. It has several compartment to hold cables and other things. Besides the straps for the backpack, it also has two other handles to carry it. Get it, you won't regret it.

Yes, this backpack is a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Heavy-duty padded canvas with strong stitching and zippers. Complete protection for your S1 Pro, with a generous compartment inside for cables, microphone, or other accessories. Shoulder straps are great for carrying it when your hands are full. I own 2 of these and use them once or twice a week for gigs. Wouldn't be without them.

As a Mobile DJ it's always best to be able to carry your equipment around from gig to gig without breaking your back. This is the perfect choice if you don't need to have them in a hard case. The backpack has a lot of room. It stores my wireless mic, a portable AC Power Bank, iPad and cables.

Excellent quality, fits the amplifier well. Extra storage pouch at the top is ideal for cables, etc. Backpack straps are nicely padded and overall it feels sturdy and well made. Would recommend to anyone who has to gig with the S1 Pro, wants an easy way to carry it, and wants to keep the unit looking decent after hauling from place to place.

The backpack allows me to travel light carrying the S1 and any accessories that I need.

If you purchase the Bose S1 Pro you really need to get the back pack, not only is easy to carry but it keeps you equipment looking like new and is a Bose product to you already know that is high quality. I personally appreciate that small bag on the top! It is very convenient to store all you cable and a small mixer.

I use my S1-Pro as a full PA for small gigs and as a stage monitor for larger ones, so it goes with me a lot. As with all Bose equipment, it's expensive but it delivers outstanding performance, and I want to protect it. This backpack not only does that, but it provides pocket space for power cord, adapter cables, and so forth. The zippered compartment in the top will also accommodate a microphone along with XLR and guitar cables, so I can basically grab a guitar and the S-1 in the backpack and play a solo show.

Excellent construction and design, and well thought out - in other words Bose. If you invested in an S-1 Pro, take a deep breath and invest in this as well.

Absolutely perfect for what it is! If only every time you bought something it could be as completely what you needed as this bag!

a must have wouldn't be without it

Bose did not cut any corners when making this back pack. It is a must have if you are buying the Bose S1 Pro. I fit all my audio cables and wireless clip on mic in the back pack. When the wedding ceremony is over I am able to quickly put everything in the bag and quickly transition over to my reception setup. The pockets are big and deep and it’s quality made.

Too expensive, but I wouldn't have purchased the S1 unit without the the nice backpack. The other cheesy cover doesn't provide enough protection for the S1.

Also this backpack frees my hands for carrying other items such as my guitar case. I hope it is built durable enough.

Yes, it's an expensive backpack. But the convenience of either a) flying with the speaker as your carry-on or b) making the walk from the car to the gig in one trip due to the fact you can put all of your cables and mic IN the bag make this well worth it.

The backpack is custom made for the S1 PA and has interior storage for larger accessories and two zippered side storage compartments. I use one of the side storage pockets to store the S1 power cable and the other to store the charging cable for a small Boss wireless system. There is protective flap that covers the top of the S1 that permits storage of larger accessory items. For example, I use this area to contain a 1/4" instrument cable (to back up the wireless system), a hand-held microphone with mic cable attached, a power supply for my Roland FR-7x digital orchestra accordion. I appreciate having a safe and efficient way to store my professional instrument and accessories. I like the hands-free back pack shoulder straps and the two carry handles. I also like the loop ties for the zippers. The carry bag appears to be well built and time will tell. I would have appreciated a windowed ID compartment and longer back pack straps for the price. This bag, the S1, and the small Boss wireless system very nicely accommodate my need for "one trip in" and "one trip out" regarding professional gigs, especially when I often perform up to 3 gigs a day.

Great accessory, gives that added protection and piece of mind when transporting. So thankful Bose offers it. Wound definitely recommend if your planning on transporting the Bose S1 or even if used as a dust cover, it fits the Bose S1 great :-)

Outstanding and highly functional. A little pricey but worth the cost

This is a MUST HAVE if you have or are purchasing a S1. I've seen way too many S1 vids where there's a dent in the screen or scratches on the unit. If you're like me, you want your gear to look as good as possible and function properly at all times. I feel confident hauling the S1 around in this bad boy. There's ample storage space in the "lid". I keep a Beta 58, Boss VE-8 processor and cables in it. There's some loops on the side that if you wanted to could probably slip a light weight mic stand in, might be a little much but there's some cool options for other gear is what I'm getting at. I think having the BOSE logo embossed into the back side of the bag (where no one is gonna see it) is unnecessary and could have saved on the cost, but that's just me being thrifty. Anyway, buy this. Don't even think about, just do it!

Love this backpack! Great quality and so easy on the hands. (I am constantly worried about nail damage when moving equipment before shows, and the Zippers are great with nylon pulls and smooth motion). Best case/storage item we"ve used for sure. Waited a while to review to make sure it held up to constant use (I tend to be hard on equipment) and after almost a year, it hasn"t disappointed at all. Top notch!

Great fit ( I have left of the cover), but also room in a zippered top section where I"ve stored extension Plugs, 1/4" cable (x2,) xlr mic cable, and a battery powered 2 Channel Art Phantom power box as I use condenser Mics, and a spare battery for the S-1 pro...
The backpack design is well balanced and backstraps adjust snugly...

This is a good backpack. I have 2 S1 Pro's and 2 backpacks. I got mine as a promotion when the S1's first came out. They are well made, and have a nice storage area built into the top. Enough room to carry mics, cables, etc. The reason for the 3 rating is the price. Good product, but IMO the price is high.

I bought 3 Bose S1 Pro speakers and I use them as.my PA. When these backpacks came out I got two of them and one slip cover. The backpacks offer quite a bit more padding than the slip cover. I like that there is a compartment on the top of the backpack that is big enough for my Tonematch mixer and a Shure SM58. There is also a pocket on each side big enough for a couple cables. Seems pretty strong. The reason I gave it 4.5 instead of 5 stars is the price. Let"s face it, backpacks don"t last long ever. If this one doesn"t, this could get expensive! As well, it"s sort of annoying that you have to empty the side pockets to put put the speaker in the backpack. Even a slight bulge from a cable would invade on the space needed to slide the speaker into the pack. But that"s a fairly minor inconvenience. But all in all, I really like this backpack and I"m glad I got it.
