100 Watts of Clean, Transparent Power Per-stereo Channel

The Seymour Duncan PowerStage 100 Stereo is a gig-ready guitar power amplifier, loaded with a whopping 100 watts of clean power per each stereo channel. Whether you’re running an amp-in-a-box pedal, preamp, or a modern modeling unit, the PowerStage transparently transforms your rig’s sound into a cabinet-ready signal. What’s more, you also get a full 5-band EQ to further tweak your tone to taste, and there’s even a cab sim switch to add just a touch more life and depth to your sound when going direct into a DAW or mixing board. Up onstage or in the studio, the Seymour Duncan PowerStage 100 Stereo is a powerful, portable alternative to a traditional guitar amplifier setup.

Note: This device is intended to drive a speaker cabinet and should not be placed in front of an amplifier or pedals.

Clean, clean power

More and more guitarists are getting hip to the great guitar tones that can be achieved by running your favorite guitar pedals — especially the amp-in-a-box variety — directly into a great power amplifier. That’s exactly what the PowerStage 100 Stereo is designed for. By utilizing this setup, your stompbox tones receive enough juice to scream through anything from a compact 1 x 12-inch cab to a 4 x 12-inch. This makes the PowerStage 100 Stereo a favorite among traveling guitarists who rely on rented backline, as well as many of the gigging players around Sweetwater.

Convenient size

Unlike the heavy and large solid-state power amplifiers of the past, the Seymour Duncan PowerStage 100 Stereo electric guitar amp is housed in a compact and attractive enclosure that will nestle right in with your other pedals. Not only that, but the PowerStage 100 Stereo is a featherweight. When you’re done pummeling your audience's ears at the gig, simply pack up your pedalboard, and your amp is taken care of too.

Plenty of tone-shaping possibilities

The Seymour Duncan PowerStage 100 Stereo electric guitar amplifier is engineered to get the very most from your pedalboard. And thanks to a powerful 5-band EQ, it sounds great as its own clean channel as well. The onboard 5-band EQ works with the power stage to match up to any cabinet. No matter what you’re running on the floor, the PowerStage 100 Stereo will handle it flawlessly.

Seymour Duncan PowerStage 100 Stereo Features:

  • Compact pedalboard-sized power amp designed to amplify your pedal- or modeler-based rig
  • 100W of pure clean tone available on each stereo channel at 4ohms
  • Far more portable than a traditional amplifier setup
  • Bypassable 5-band EQ gives you a seriously versatile level of tone-shaping power
  • Built-in bypassable cabinet simulation to add a bit of life to your sound when going direct to a DAW or mixing board
  • Allows you to use your pedals as the rig’s front end

The Final Touch on my ToneMaster Pro Pedalboard
Only had it a couple of days and I am absolutely blown away how good and loud this thing sounds through my 2 Mesa Boogie 12 inch Thiele cabinets. I can still run the XLR outs into the PA too. It was also easy to integrate into my pedal board after removing a redundant wireless guitar receiver that I didn't use much anymore. Can't wait to use it at practice and our next gig.

Wow!
I'm getting too lazy (yes…that means old) to be hauling amps around! This was the perfect solution! I hooked this up with my Headrush Gigboard and my entire rig is now in one easy to transport Mono soft case. It has plenty of headroom; and the stereo inputs are perfect for the ping pong delay effects I need to make up for my lack of chops…I run it through 2 1x12 Orange cabs (which are also very light!) and I love it! Perfect for any club gig (no one is telling you to turn down when you unpack this, as opposed to the Marshall heads that give sound guys panic attacks); it would be perfect for Church gigs as well as the footprint is so small and you can go direct to the house…
Does what I need it to very well
Puts out clean power and is dead silent. If your running multi effects/ pedal boards or modelers, this definitely gets the job done. Had no problem keeping up using a 2x12 with DV-77 speakers. Even better through 4x12 with Greenbacks and Mojotone BV25M. Plenty loud and didn't fart out. EQ is very useful and being able to shut it off on a a handy feature. I haven't tried going direct using XLR outs and the cab sim, so I can't speak on that yet. Very happy with this and it weighs 3 lbs, which makes it very easy to use for travel. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, no headphones out, which is no big deal, but would have been a cool option.

No complaints on this. I use it to run my nano cortex into my cabinet. I prefer to do this since I have a custom built cab, and I really didn't want to buy an FRFR cab. If I feel like using the IR's of the nano, then I just run it through my studio monitors which also gives me a stereo spread. It's nice to have the eq section of the PowerStage, but for my current set up I keep it off since I'm using the nano, but in a different set up, it's nice to have that option. Feels heavy duty and like the look, you know, cause I play in my bedroom where nobody can see it.
This thing crushes!!!
Wow! This is my first amp of this type and I am completely amazed at how it sounds.

I love the fact that it has a small foot print and is easily attached to any pedalboard. I use it with both my quad cortex and nano cortex and they both sound amazing.

The 100s powers my cabs without issue and I love the fact that it automatically selects the impedance.

Last but not least, I'm a big fan of the EQ and find myself using it to fine tune my sound and get exactly what I need.

I love it!
