This Stand's Made with the Gigging Player in Mind!

Here's why the Platform Keyboard Stand is a best seller. Keyboardists all around the world have gravitated toward this very stand for one simple reason... it's easy to pull up a bench, sit in front of it, and play — without the frustrating knee-knocking that X-stands make you deal with. That's right, it's so simple but true. When you're playing onstage or in the studio, your number one priority is performing, not trying to find a way to sit comfortably. That's why you give you — and your keyboard — the level of support they deserve, with the On-Stage Stands Platform Keyboard Stand.

What's also great about the Platform Keyboard Stand is that you can collapse the width of it, so you can stick drum machines or other DJ gear on it — like a mini table. DJs love this stand. And if you're a weekend warrior, you'll be glad to hear that the entire stand folds flat, so you can pop it in the trunk of your car and tote it from home to the gig and back.

Reviews

Excellent Stand For Lap Steel
Wanted a stand for lap steel that would be sturdy, adjustable, portable, no intrusive mods to the instrument and less expensive than the quasi-custom stands I was finding online. This (keyboard) stand is working extremely well for me. It's very sturdy and height-adjustable, too. It's not overly large and yet there's room on top to accommodate picks, tuner, reverb pedal, coffee cup etc. I can hang headphones on the crossbar. Currently using it at the lowest height and my workstation chair (with me in it), slides right under perfectly for studying lap steel on my computer. I have no trouble using a Korg AX1G expression multi-effects pedal on the floor beneath it in order to have volume swells and multiple preset reverb/delay/tremolo choices.
Music background: Longtime hobbyist performing in small combo and mainly on guitar a few times a month (pre-Covid) in dinner clubs, weddings, society and charity events.
After poring over the reviews, this was the right choice!
I agonized over which stand to purchase. I wanted something light enough and collapsible enough to be truly portable, yet sturdy enough to not make me hesitant about banging away at my keyboard fearlessly. I settled on the KS7150 and I am glad that I did. Someone mentioned that there is no rubber on top to prevent sliding, but my box came with two adhesive-backed padded "rubber-ish" strips for that purpose. I actually use a cut-up old yoga mat instead, though. (Just something I already had around, and it works well.) If you do find the stand wobbling from side to side (as I did at first), then this just means you need to "over-extend" the little collapsible diagonal supports in the "armpits". If you were to stand on either side and look towards the stand, the diagonal supports should be concave, with the flexion point (the middle) as far away from you as possible. If all you do is gently unfold the stand, those diagonal bars will end up merely straight, instead of going "past straight" into that concave resting spot where they become really stable. I'm attaching a photo showing the stand with my piano on top and my piano bench tucked neatly underneath. I'm loving it.

Sturdy. Adjustable.
A nice sturdy and adjustable stand for my old, and heavy at 74 pounds, Yamaha P-150 keyboard.

Almost 6 years later and still great!
I have used this stand mostly at home and it's been very sturdy. It folds up very compact to transport. As soon as you pick it up you know by its weight that it's some stout, sturdy gear. I've been using this stand since November 2018. First, with a Roland MIDI Controller and the last few years it's been holding up a Yamaha P-125.

I have the KS7150 extended almost the full width of the piano so the weight is supported on the piano pads (feet) as Yamaha intended. You do have to be careful extending the KS7150 that wide with a heavy keyboard on it. The table will bow under the weight and no doubt stress the metal. Before tightening the adjustment knobs, I lift the table up in the middle from the bottom bars and then tighten the adjusters. The table is then parallel with the floor and not bowed.

On-Stage was smart to angle the legs out for stability, despite stubbing toes on them. I took round pool floaters and with a box cutter cut them to length for each leg. Then I cut a slit in them to wrap around the leg and the height adjustment knob. No more stubbed toes.

I would definitely buy this table stand again.
Good, sturdy keyboard stand
Excellent stand for portable keyboards. It's very sturdy and leaves comfortable leg room.
