There are plenty of excellent bags out there for tripod-base microphone stands, but few that truly accommodate round- or hex-base stands. That's why Sweetwater live sound techs appreciate On-Stage Stands MSB-6500 mic stand bag. This 37" stand bag comfortably fits three shafts and their round or hex bases and booms. Like all similar On-Stage Stands bags, the MSB-6500 is seriously tough. Having field tested them ourselves for decades, we can attest to the construction: the canvas holds up to extreme punishment, the piping adds structure and rigidity, and both the stitching and the heavy-gauge 2-pull zippers hold up to a lot of stress and abuse. Add a couple of sturdy handles, and your MSB-6500 is ready to go whenever you are.
Perfect for our needs
Our choir has a few performances every year where we have to bring our equipment. This bag allows us to consolidate out mic stands in a convenient way. Construction is fine and it is easy to carry around.
Too small for 12” bases
I needed a case to transport two round 12" base mic stands, however the case pockets are too small to hold 12" bases. Disappointed. I may try to force the issue, but it will likely damage the pockets. It appears the pockets are only 11" wide.
