Bought for a sound system at church. The 2mm wire is great. The pastor that tried it loved the fit and it sounds amazing.

The replacement earnest was an identical duplicate to the damaged model. Service was great. The microphone arrived two days after order was placed just in time for the performance!

I was looking for a headset mic that was so discreet it is almost invisible. I did not want the microphone distracting from the message. This is it! It is exactly what I was looking for. In the picture, you will see a very thin line just below my chin line on the side where my hair is not tucked behind my ear. If you did not know to look for it, you wouldn't see it. The sound is clear with no complications and it fit the mic pack I already had. It is SO well worth the investment.

This is the 2nd Countryman that our church has purchased / used, and have found it to be of high quality sound, easy to use, highly recommended. There is one drawback - possibly, somewhat of a design flaw - the collar clip that holds the wire to a shirt collar is too tight on the wire end of it. It is next to impossible to get the wire into the clip without stressing the sheathing of the wire, and once in - if it needs adjustment - it tears at the wire sheathing. The reason we have purchased a 2nd unit is because the clip has cut through the sheathing down to the wire, necessitating we be prepared for when the wire breaks completely. Granted, we've had it for several years, but we only use it - on average - once per week. Other than that - it really IS a great product, and Sweetwater is a wonderful company.

As a pastor there are a few things I hope for in my mic. Great sound, discreet, and comfortable. I found all three in this mic. Our church had difficulty with feedback of other mics, but that hasn't been an issue with the Countryman at all. It sounds very natural and most can't even tell I have it on. Very happy. Went with 4.5 stars only because of price, but in this case you do get what you pay for.

Alter years of use the mic the boom broke so we ordered the same great Countryman E6, also the service from Sweetwater was the best!

We just had to replace this after our first one broke that we used for 12 years!!! Very comfortable and practically invisible.

Great sound. No feedback. Far superior to any other mike we have used, Great buy.

Exceptional sound quality. Design keeps the mic close to and in same proximity to the talent's mouth so much less tweaking the audio gains during the performance. I use it mostly for corporate presentations. After using these, I really don't like using lavs anymore.
