I have been using the original Cloudlifter for years and this new version is just flat out better in every way. Same great gain lift, but in a more convenient package. I can leave them on the back of the mics that need them, or pack it in a bag or keep it in my pocket for easy travel. This is an absolute must have for every studio or home recording engineer.

A great product to help to have great sound so easy can fit on my key chain or in my pocket. Just as great as a cl1 but in such a easier travel form 25db on the go all I can say is yes..

It's really a no brainer, you need clean gain abd this thing give it to you straight from the source without extra cables to cause feedback or electronic noise. It's really perfect and I highly suggest it for any microphone that can use a boost specifically passive ribbon and dynamic mics like the sure iconic sm7b or the Cloud 44midnight ribbon Microphone
