Shipping & Delivery Options

FREE Shipping:

Sweetwater has the best shipping deal on the planet: FREE SHIPPING* with no minimum purchase, on nearly everything we sell, all courtesy of Sweetwater. Click for complete details.

Lightweight items (13 ounces or less) will be shipped via the United States Postal Service First Class Mail. This is trackable and normally arrives within two to four days. Heavier items (up to 150 lbs.) ship via FedEx Ground® or UPS Ground. Typical delivery time ranges from one to five days.

Have an APO or FPO address? Sweetwater is happy to offer FREE shipping* via the United States Postal Service to your APO or FPO address. If you need faster delivery, please call. We'll help find the shipping solution that works best for you.

FedEx Hold at Location:

FedEx Hold at Location delivery options are also now available at checkout.

Stop worrying about your just-delivered gear sitting unattended on your doorstep. By selecting FedEx Hold at Location services during the checkout process, you can designate a location close to you where your new gear will be held. Now you are free to pick it up on your schedule, plus you’ll enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing it is waiting for you in a safe place.

Additional Shipping Options:

If your order does not qualify for free shipping – or if you require faster delivery – you will still enjoy very reasonable shipping rates. After entering your Zip Code on the Sweetwater Checkout page, we'll show you your shipping options and charges. Just select the method you prefer.

  • FedEx Ground – U.S. only. 1–5 business days within the contiguous U.S. Delivery by the end of the business day.
  • UPS Ground – U.S. only. 1–5 business days within the contiguous U.S. 6–7 business days to Alaska and Hawaii.
  • FedEx Express Saver® – U.S. only (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Delivery to business by 4:30 p.m. and to residences by 7 p.m. in 3 business days.
  • FedEx 2Day® – U.S. only. Delivery by 4:30 p.m. in 2 business days to most areas (by 7 p.m. to residences).
  • FedEx Standard Overnight® – U.S. only (Hawaii service outbound only). Next-business-day (Monday-Friday) delivery by 3 p.m. to most addresses; by 4:30 to rural areas.
  • FedEx Priority Overnight® – U.S. only. Next-business-day (Monday-Friday) delivery by 10:30 a.m. to most addresses; by noon, 4:30 p.m., or 5 p.m. in remote areas.
  • Require Signature for Delivery – This service is available for all the delivery options above. It ensures that your order will only be delivered when you are present to sign for the delivery, preventing packages from being left at your door when you're not home.

Delivery Times:

Thanks to special arrangements with our principal carriers, we have the latest same-day shipping cut-off time in the industry.

  • FedEx Ground: 1–5 business days to every deliverable address within the contiguous United States, 3–7 business days to Puerto Rico. Upgrades to overnight and second-day shipping via FedEx Express are available; see checkout for prices.
  • UPS Ground: 1–6 business days within the contiguous United States. Upgrades available for 3 Day Select (ground), 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air

International Shipping:

Due to manufacturer restrictions, we are limited in what we can ship outside of the United States. Please call us to find out if the item(s) you are interested in can be shipped internationally. The following are exceptions to this policy (some restrictions apply for these destinations):

  • Puerto Rico
  • US Military addresses (i.e. APO and FPO addresses)
  • Locations that use a US Postal ZIP Code, such as Guam, The Virgin Islands, etc.
